Maldon Town Victorian Evening where over the two nights we raised money for our 2006/7 project Water Wells in Africa
The Club Members have also endured a 24 hour exercise bike ride and travelled 487 miles. We did have the help of ex-Leo's, Mum's, Dad's, Lions and Lionesses throughout the night. This was achieved outside St Peters Church in Maldon High Street and over the period at least £700-00 was raised. The local Police even supplied us with Pot Noodles and hot water.
New Venture
We are always looking for new idea to fundraise with and our latest is called 'Ball in the bog'. On its first trip out it was a great success and we look forward to taking it out soon. Our next two trips out were to Maldon Prom for the Football Finals and again both stalls were taken, once again a great success and we would like to thank the All Saint's Football Club for organising the event.
Fundraising and 'Trash 2 Fash' at Maldon Carnival In July 2007
All the Leo's were involved with a 12 hour static bike ride in Maldon High Street and a considerable amount of money was raised for Water Wells. Two of the Leo's also entered in the parade through the town to demonstrate the Leo's first run on Trash 2 Fash (see more on this at the new site Page)
